Firstly I want to thank you for your kind and informative replies. Secondly, as you have mentioned the three situations and said that those who fall in the last category can be forgiven. Do children and young people up to the age of around 15 or 16 also fall in this category? They don’t have any thinking of their own and they follow their parents blindly because of the age factor and lack of exposure and other necessary things.

People who are not mentally mature, irrespective of their ages, hopefully will be dealt with mercifully. My opinion is based on the fact that God places responsibility upon individuals based on the principle of justice. A person who for obvious reasons, cannot be held responsible for his beliefs and/or actions, shall not be.
