Regarding the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ

I just wanted to add a little information to this discussion.  Not only is Prophet Adam's birth a greater miracle than the birth of Jesus but almost every miracle Jesus performed was paralleled by another prophet. i.e. feeding of a great amount of people with little food was also performed by Elijah (I Kings 17:16) or healing people as did Elisha (II Kings 5:14) or making the blind see as did Elisha (II Kings 6:17-20) or being filled with Holy Spirit as was John the Baptist (Luke 1-13) or raising the dead which Elijah did (I Kings 17:22) and Elisha (II Kings 4:34).  Jesus is not unique according to the Bible.

For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. (Hebrews 7: 1 - 4)

Jesus is a great prophet but many of his miracles were magnified by people to justify his deification.  Understanding the Bible may help clarify some of these misconceptions and help answer some of the questions regarding his mysterious life.

I hope I have helped.
