I would like to drag the attention of Mr.Graeme and those who beleive like him to the fact that what he falsely accused Islam with, is in fact what his holy bibles demand,order and propagate!
Mr. Graeme stated that " Terrorism by definition is the use of violence and/or the threat thereof to achieve political or religious ends." I agree with him on that but there is something worse and this is to kill people because they refuse to just accept you as a ruler over them! let us read together what is recorded in Luke 19:27 - But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. JESUS SAID!!.
Allah says in the Holy Quran " let be no compulsion (coercion) in religion for truth stands out clear from error " (Quran 2.256)
All the holy verses in the Holy Quran that deal with the apostates warn them only of the eternal punishment in the hereafter if they die on that, not a single verse mentions their punishment in this world, of course if they raise up arms against the Muslims, they should be killed because of fighting against Muslims not because their apostasy.
now let's see that the order to kill the apsotates is in the bibles not in the Holy Quran.
1- Those who worshipped the Calf ( the apostates) among the children of Israel were put to death because of their apostasy , it is mentioned in Exodus 32.27-28 " And he(Moses) said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. 28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. "
2- Killing people for apostasy ( serving or worshipping other gods) Deut. 13.15-16
3- killing the prophet who will speak in the name of other gods (which means apostated ) . Deut. 18.20&Deaut.13.5
4-killing the mother and the father and more for apostasy and calling for apostasy in Deut. 3.6-9
on other hand let us see what Allah says regarding if your mother and father strive with the Muslim to apostate.
Allah says " And We(Allah) have enjoined upon man concerning his partners - His mother beareth him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years - Give thanks unto Me and unto thy parents. Unto Me is the journeying( the final return), But if they strive with thee to make thee ascribe unto Me as partner that of which thou hast no knowledge, then obey them not. Consort with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who repenteth unto Me. Then unto Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what ye used to do " Quran 31.15) .
I hope that anyone wants to accuse Islam of anything to go and know his religion first or at least to be open minded person and ask Muslim scholars before he he/she casts non sense against The true Religion.
