Shias basically believe in the superiority of H.Prophet & His Progeny, which begins with His daughter also called Khatoon-e-Jannat, one of The Four Best Women of this world. For whom The Prophet has left innumerable Ahadiths. The Imams are Her huband ALI, her sons Hasan & Hussain. The 4th Imam starts from the CHILDREN OF HUSSAIN. Have the Muslims forgotten Hussain ibn Ali; for whom Prophet says Hussain-o-Minni-va-Ana minalHussain.

As regards to cursing, it was a ritual started by Moawiyah against Ali ibn Abitalib; who was regularly cursed from pulpits of mosques after Friday prayers. It continued for some 70-80 yrs. & was stopped by Umar-Bin-Abdulaziz. Shias basically curse Yazid & his father for committing the atrocities against the family of H. Prophet. If Muslims think that Yazid & Moawiyah were right, then SUBHAN-ALLAH. It however does explains the plight of Muslims these days. If we cannot distinguish b/w right & wrong then what kind of a religion we have. We are just defaming our prophet.
