Asalam Aalaikum After reading your reply to this question1, I would like to present my comments and please correct my comments if they are wrong. Does your answer infact mean that God is free of time of space? Also my other question is that since God is omnipotent and omniscient, can He come down to us as many Muslims claim that during the fajar(early morning) period, God descends and asks the believers to demand what they want. Is this true?
Yes. The answer actually implies that it seems that time and space are in fact phenomenon created by God. God is not bound by time and space.
As for the referred narrative, it relates not to the physical descent of God, but to the closeness of His mercy and forgiveness at the referred time. The Hadith actually implies that at such and such time, God’s mercy and forgiveness is closer to us and therefore, we should try to use this time in rendering ourselves deserving of it.
I hope this helps.
