I learnt that we need to take full bath after every single sexual relation: intercourse, and not to do next relation without taking bath for both husband and wife. Is it correct? Or can have intercourse more than once without taken bath in between?
The above-mentioned prescription is not part of the Shari’ah in any way. Islam enjoins the believers to perform Ghus’l (i.e. ritual bath) as a preparation to approach the Lord, as for instance, in offering one’s prayers. This, of course, applies to those who have had sexual contact. In other words one may approach his wife or her husband as many times as they please without performing Ghusul. It only becomes necessary, after sexual contact or menstrual discharge, when a person is preparing for prayer or fasting. My only personal recommendation is that one should maintain good physical hygiene in whatever acts the person commits to.
I hope I have clarified the issue.
God knows best.
