Bismiallah, My wife is in another country waiting for her Visa, so we can be together. After we were married, another Muslim asked her out. This Muslim was at our wedding. My wife declined. I am very upset over his actions. What is the punishment for such behavior???
Asking another person’s wife out, per se, is neither a sin nor a crime. However, it may amount to a sin, if it is done with a wrong intention and, in such a case, the person would be held accountable and may even be punished for asking the woman out.
Nevertheless, for the purposes of the life of this world, asking a woman out, per se, cannot be considered a crime and, therefore, cannot be punished.
I hope this helps.
