Touching the Qur'an Without Ablution...
Can
a person touch the Holly Qur’an who satisfies all the conditions of 'Taharat'
but is without ablution (wudhu)?
With
best regards

Being
in a state of ablution is not a necessary condition to touch the Qur’an. If
the Prophet (pbuh) has not made it a necessary condition to touch the Qur’an,
then no one else has the authority to do so. A person may, as a show of his
reverence toward the book, of his own will, perform ablution before touching the
book. Nevertheless, ablution for this purpose cannot be termed as
‘obligatory’.
