Regarding the Qur’an Code…

Is the Qur’an code a real code in the Qur’an or just a false attempt by Muslims to prove the Qur’an is Gods word?

What exactly do you mean by the Qur'an code?

The Clarification

The Qur’an code is a mathematical and structural phenomenon some claim exists in the Qur’an, they claim it is what is referred to when Allah says no one can match the miracle of the Qur’an, if all the scientists gathered they could probably imitate one verse of the Qur’an in style but none could imitate the Qur’an’s structure (if it exists).

The Qur’an has not presented any ‘mathematical code’, as evidence of its divine origin. I do not therefore ascribe to the view given on the referred site.

Moreover, the Qur’an has never stated anything like ‘if all the scientists gathered they…’, as referred by you. This statement does not exist in the Qur’an.

Finally, if you look closely at the verse from which the referred code has been derived, you can easily see that it has nothing to do with any ‘mathematical code’. The verse reads as:

I shall soon burn him in hell. What do you think what hell is? It shall neither have any pity nor shall it let go, charring the skin. Over it shall be nineteen.

Look at the verse it has nothing to do with any ‘mathematical code’. It only informs us that the hell shall be supervised by nineteen. But nineteen what? The answer to this question has been given in the succeeding verse. The Qur’an says:

And We have appointed none but angels to guard the Fire. And We have not given their number (i.e. nineteen) except to make it a [further] point of dispute for the unbelievers…

I really do not see how these verses could be interpreted to imply the existence of a ‘mathematical code’ in the Qur’an.

I hope this helps.
