I want to know that how the “Namaaz-e-Janaazah” of Hazarat Muhammad (SAWW) was offered. Also tell the exact place where it was offered.
Namaaz-e-Janaazah (the burial prayer) is actually a prayer and supplication for the forgiveness of the dead. It was for this reasons that it has been reported that at the time of the Prophet’s death, the Muslims decided that the normal Namaaz-e-Janaazah should not be offered. Instead, it is reported that the Muslims came in groups and paid their homage and respects to the Prophet (pbuh).
Thus, the answer to your question is that the Namaaz-e-Janaazah of the Prophet (pbuh) was not offered. The Prophet (pbuh) was buried at the same place where he died – in the room allotted to Hadhrat Ayesha (ra).
