Report on young Algerians living in Paris, who came to France for vital reasons. The recognition of the independence of Algeria by France intervened barely a few years earlier, in 1962.
Meeting with Amar and Fatima who tell us about their daily life: their living in slums, the difficult search for a job, their experience of racism and the moments of relaxation in cafes with their friends. Despite this very precarious life, they reveal what they expect from their future, in terms of work and sentimental life. They also address the differences in customs between boys and girls, in the country and in France.
