Aymeric Caron denounces a “dishonest attack” of Rima Hassan
Aymeric Caron, deputy of Paris (18ᵉ district) and founder of the ecological revolution for the living (Rev), responds to Rima Hassan. In an interview with ThinkerView, the LFI MEP criticized him for reducing the Palestinian issue to the figure of Netanyahu alone. On x, Caron writes being “Extremely surprised by your dishonest public attack”. “TWe aggressiveness and your lies are certainly not up to the cause that we defend in common, like all humanists and universalists must do so, and that questions your motivations “he adds.
He continues: “The subject is not you, neither me, the subject is the 55,000 children killed or injured in Gaza for 2 years, the 20,000 orphans, the million traumatized children for life, currently deprived of everything, the 100,000 dead in total, the hundreds of thousands of wounded, genocide, famine, colonization, apartheid, bankruptcy of humanity”. This attack is all the more surprising since Aymeric Caron has been undergoing daily attacks on the part of support for the genocide. Far from yielding, he has always assumed his positions with consistency, refusing compromises and relentlessly defending the Palestinian cause. His career testifies to an integrity never denied and obvious courage, including in the face of defamation campaigns and the multiple pressures to which he is regularly exposed.
