Bourget Salon: France hides Israeli weapons, Israel denounces a “scandal”

At the request of the French government, several Israeli offensive arms systems were hidden behind high black palisades, on the eve of the opening of the International Aeronautical Show. A decision that sparked a furious reaction from Israel, whose stands were visually insulated from the rest of the show, including Turkish and Chinese pavilions.

The Israeli Defense Ministry speaks of a “scandalous decision”, accusing France of using “political pretexts” to harm its defense industry. However, it is indeed the war crimes in progress in Gaza and the strikes against sovereign countries like Lebanon or Syria that make this unwanted equipment on European soil. While the Israeli bombs are death, including among civilians, Israel hoped to be able to sell its military know-how without opposition, in a trade fair. France, for once, sketched a red line, timidly, requesting the withdrawal of part of the equipment. Israel, faithful to its strategy of diplomatic victimization, shouts in injustice while continuing to display weapons used in a war denounced by many NGOs as a genocide.
