Canada: a strong gesture of support for Gaza from a student on the graduation scene
Bravo a thousand times! This is the only interjection inspired by the strong and courageous gesture accomplished by a Canadian student, to thunderous applause.
Taking advantage of the traditional graduation ceremony to achieve her coup, the young heroine of the University of British Columbia advanced on stage, when her name was called, with a determined step, no without having displayed a large banner in the colors of Palestine, denouncing in large and bold letters:
“Israel destroyed all the universities in Gaza”
From here we can hear the boos and other screams that such a demonstration of support for Palestine would have triggered in France, all the more so in these alarming times when the danger of the extreme right lurks like rarely before…
