“Control” from the city of Gaza: Netanyahu intensifies the current genocide

While 75 % of the Gaza Strip is already occupied, satellite images disseminated by NBC reveal a vast deployment of Israeli troops and military equipment on the southern border, announcing a new imminent terrestrial offensive on Gaza City, the last bastion of life in an already ravaged territory. Meeting on Thursday, the Israeli security firm validated the expansion of the occupation, with the aim of seizing the last quarter of the Palestinian enclave. Genocidaire Benyamin Netanyahu tirelessly pursues an ethnic extermination and cleaning policy against the civilian population of Gaza. More than 100,000 Palestinians have already been killed in an almost total impunity.

In Gaza City, where hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians are piled up, living in ruins or precarious shelters, the announcement of this operation makes a new wave of terror and forced trips fear. For the inhabitants, it is no longer a war, or even a strategy: they denounce an “institutionalization of domination” and a genocide in broad daylight, under the eyes of the world.

Even the Israeli opposition alerts: Yair Lapid described this plan as “disaster which will lead to many other disasters”, denouncing the influence of the extreme right on Netanyahu, and a bloody occupation “aimless, without vision, without future”. But nothing seems to slow down the colonial appetite of the Israeli regime. The United States continues to armer and support Israel politically, while the European Union is satisfied with hollow discourse, always refusing the slightest sanction against a state engaged in a proven genocide.

For the Palestinians of Gaza, each day is now a renewed nightmare – under bombs, hunger, and the steamroller of a genocidal regime which has made crime against humanity a state policy … with the active complicity of the West.
