Four Moroccan sisters filled with happiness: they carry out the Hajj together, after years of waiting
Thumbs up in a sign of their joy of such intensity that there are no words to express it, four inseparable Moroccan sisters have the immense happiness of realizing their most beautiful dream together.
The youngest is 65 years old, the oldest 82 years old, these four sisters that the hope of making the great journey of a lifetime has long animated, without ever giving up on it, despite the vicissitudes of existence, have finally arrived. to destination.
More united than ever, overwhelmed by the same deep emotion, they trod the ground of Mecca with the same foot, contemplating, amazed, the vast esplanade of the Great Mosque al-Haramin the center of which stands, covered with its silky black robe (the Kiswah), the Holy Kaaba.
“ We are going to perform Hajj, God willing, after waiting for years “, they rejoiced, in unison, with the Saudi news site Sabq, which collected their first impressions when they got off the plane from Casablanca.
It is thanks to the “Road to Mecca” – an initiative launched in 2018 by the Saudi authorities facilitating the fulfillment of the fifth pillar of Islam for pilgrims from Morocco, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey and Ivory Coast – that the dearest dream of four Moroccan sisters has come true.
A dream that they have nurtured for many years, united by the strength of prayer, and which materializes during a Hajj 2023 placed under happy auspices.
