François Bayrou: “I do not want to make Islam a subject of fixing of French society. I know that it is fashion (…) but we must live together”

“I do not want to make Islam a subject of fixing of French society. I know that it is fashion, that it probably has success in certain circles, but we have to live together, “he said, believing that the bidding around the security and identity themes were only exacerbating tensions. He referred to MEMB MEMB FESNEAU, who recently denounced a “sovereign escalation”. François Bayrou reaffirmed the need for living together: “In France, atheists, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists-and I don’t know who still-let’s have to live together.
