“How your taxes finance the Israeli army”: the MP LFI Clémence Attété denounces an absolute sandal

It is a serious accusation, carried by the deputy LFI Clémence Watch out, vice-president of the National Assembly. According to her, the European Union uses taxpayers’ money to finance, via the “Horizon Europe” program, the Israeli military industry in full genocide in Gaza. “These are our taxes that are used to develop drones, sensors, surveillance systems for a genocide state”, she denounces in a message published on X.

The “Horizon Europe” program, officially dedicated to civil research, actually finances 21 projects directly linked to the Israeli army. Among the beneficiaries:
– Israel Aerospace Industriesarmament giant: 2.8 million euros;
– Rafael Advanced Defense Systemspublic company: 500,000 euros;
– The Ministry of Defense of Netanyahu itselftargeted by multiple accusations of war crimes.

Clémence Attété denounces an active complicity of Europe in the current genocide in Gaza, even though millions of civilians are deprived of water, care, food, and crushed under the bombs. Faced with the request for suspension of these funding, the European Commission dared to answer that it would be “discrimination against Israel”. Unbearable hypocrisy for the deputy: “In 2022, against Russia, everything was immediately frozen. Faced with Israel, we collaborate. This two-point-meshes is an absolute shame. »» And to conclude without detour: “Stop the genocide. Stop the massacre. It is necessary to put an end to the complicity of Europe and France. Behind the hollow promises of scientific neutrality, it is our taxes which argue a state accused of committing a genocide
