In a platform published by The world This July 31, 2025, the former Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin affirms with gravity: “Today, looking at Gaza, observing day after day what takes place there, I must face the obvious: a crime takes place in Gaza, a crime of genocide. A declaration which marks a clear position in the face of the magnitude of the crimes committed against the Palestinian population.

With these words, Dominique de Villepin joins the findings established by Amnesty International, several Israeli NGOs and even independent international experts, who claim that the facts in Gaza are well a documented genocide. In France, however, certain political, intellectual and editorialist leaders persist in denying this genocide, moved by a blind ideology and unconditional support for Israel, to the point of dehumanizing the Palestinians and justifying the unjustifiable. Their moral complicity in this historical tragedy cannot be erased. They will have to respond, one day, of this silence or this approval before history, consciences … and a court.
