Large gathering in Strasbourg: “Urgent protection of the Palestinian people

The France Palestine Solidarity Association as well as more than 50 French and European partner organizations are calling for a major rally in front of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Wednesday November 27, at 1 p.m.. The rally will begin with a press conference.

For more than a year the Palestinian people have faced genocide in Gaza, the acceleration of ethnic cleansing and colonization and unprecedented repression by the State of Israel.

He faces it without any protection, in the indifference of a large part of the international community and in a deafening silence.

At the same time, at the European Parliament, MEPs from several countries and different parliamentary groups will hold a press conference to denounce violations of international law, international humanitarian law, human rights as well as war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Israel for more than a year.

The objective is also to call on the European Union to assume its responsibilities in protecting the Palestinian people:

Immediate stop to the aggression of the Palestinian people: Immediate ceasefire – End of colonization, occupation, apartheid
End of Israeli impunity: Sanctions – Suspension of the association agreement
Right to self-determination of the Palestinian people: Justice, equality, freedom – Recognition of the State of Palestine
