He cites CNews in particular, putting forward the figure of 30,000 mentions of the word “Islam” between 2022 and 2024. In his eyes, this focus continually fuels violence and diverts attention from daily concerns.

“When we talk about the absence of teachers in front of our students in high schools, we are talking about immigration. » Same observation, he continues, when the French talk about their difficulties in refueling: the discussion returns to immigrants and the cost of immigration. “That’s enough. » Ali Rabeh calls for addressing these subjects in a peaceful and rational manner, without making them the permanent center of public discussion. Finally, he recalls that his municipal program is not aimed at a particular community: it responds to the daily lives of the French, their needs and the concrete problems of his city.
