London to host world’s largest halal food festival

The World Halal Food Festival will return to London on September 26 and 27, 2026, at the London Stadium, for one of the largest international events dedicated to halal gastronomy. More than 200 exhibitors from 25 countries are expected. All stands will offer 100% halal food. After the success of previous editions, the organizers hope to welcome more than 200,000 visitors during the weekend.

The public will be able to discover specialties from all over the world, with a large place given to street food. Burgers, grills, Asian dishes, Middle Eastern cuisine, African specialties and even desserts will be on the program.

The festival will not be limited to food. Culinary demonstrations, shows, music and activities for children are also planned. Several personalities will participate in the event, including Shelina Permalloo, winner of MasterChefas well as British rapper and entertainer Big Zuu. Athletes and other guests are also announced.

The World Halal Food Festival also wants to show the diversity of halal cuisine. Over the years, the event has become an important meeting place for restaurateurs, brands and professionals in the sector. It is also an opportunity for young brands to make themselves known to a very wide audience. Many come to test new products, present their specialties and meet consumers directly.

The festival also reflects the evolution of halal in the UK. We are far from a market limited to a few neighborhood businesses. Today, halal affects catering, the food industry, distribution and attracts more and more entrepreneurs. The market is booming in the United Kingdom as in the rest of the world. According to figures cited by the organizers, the global halal food and beverage market today represents more than $2,000 billion. In the UK it is estimated to be worth around 40 billion pounds.

For two days, London will become one of the world capitals of halal gastronomy, with visitors, chefs and professionals from many countries.
