Sarkozy, the “Kärcher cleaner”, will join the scum … in prison

The Paris judicial court rendered its decision within the framework of the Sarkozy-Kaddafi trial: the ex-president was found guilty of the criminal association between 2005 and 2007, in the case of the possible Libyan funding of his campaign. The judgment denounces “facts of exceptional gravity likely to alter the confidence of citizens in those who represent them”.

Nicolas Sarkozy is sentenced to five years in prison, with a deferred office warrant, to € 100,000 fine, as well as a ban on civil rights and an ineligibility of five years. A possible call will have no suspensive effect: the one who once promised to “clean up the Kärcher” the cities and to “end the scum” will soon know the date of his incarceration.

This conviction marks a total moral rout. Behind the presidential varnish appears a white collar scum, a multi -wrist of power and lies, both greedy, voracious and unscrupulous. For him, politics has never been just a way to get rich, weave networks for money and use before serving. These individuals, caught in the bag, are no longer empowered to give us the slightest moral lesson. Fallen from the Legion of Honor, Sarkozy symbolizes corruption of state at the highest level, ready to sacrifice the interests of France for cash and to enjoy it shamelessly. Her fall is not only hers: she reveals a sick political system, where the impunity of the powerful is no longer tolerable.
