Tensions at their peak between Israel and Yemen’s Houthis

While Yemenis are showing more than ever their “total solidarity” with the Palestinians, and in particular the martyred people of Gaza, and after the deadly drone attack against Tel Aviv carried out on Friday by the Houthis, the bloody Israeli response was not long in coming. The Yemeni media reported, in fact, the dropping of bombs on oil refineries in the port of Al Hudaydah, a nerve center of the country, killing three people and causing a huge fire.

For its part, the army of the genocidal Israeli state indicated, this Sunday, July 21, that it had intercepted a missile coming from Yemen and “which was approaching Israel”, the day after a raid in Yemen that left three dead and more than 80 injured. The Houthis had announced that they had targeted the seaside town of Eilat.

Yahya Sare’e, the Houthi spokesman, said in a statement published on X that the strike, claimed on Friday, was carried out in retaliation for the ongoing war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas.
