The author of the deadly attack on the Magdeburg Christmas market is an Islamophobic Saudi, close to the far-right!
The heinous attack by a car which crashed into the crowd gathered at a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, this Friday, December 20, and which left at least five dead and more than 200 injured, was particularly shocking .
But as soon as the profile of the suspect, arrested in his vehicle, was made public and we learned that he was a Saudi psychiatrist based in Germany since 2006, voices were immediately raised to cry to the “Islamist attack”.
However, the German authorities have called for caution: “We must precisely understand the author, his actions and his motivations and then draw the consequences from a legal perspective. declared Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who came to pay his respects at the scene of the attack in the company of several political figures.
Jordan Bardella, president of the RN, was quick to deplore on X, without the slightest nuance or verification as to the veracity of his assertions, a “Islamist attack”. “The target of the attack owes nothing to chance: radical Islam is waging a war on our Christian traditions, on our identities, on our civilization”he had asserted smugly.
For her part, in a message also posted on X, Marine Le Pen denounced Friday “Islamist barbarism” Who “sows terror in the heart of Europe”. “This act of war against a symbol of our civilization raises hearts”she added.
But now the information disclosed by the German authorities has contradicted this false Islamophobic campaign. “ The man, however, was not known for his sympathies with the jihadist movement. On the contrary, his frequent positions on social networks paint the portrait of a man feeling persecuted, having broken with Islam and denouncing the “dangers” of an Islamization of Germany. Some media even attribute connections to the German extreme right » we can read on the BFMTV website this Saturday, December 21.
Not only did the author of the attack have nothing to do with Islamist circles as claimed by numerous speakers close to the extreme right, but it turns out that his profile indicates quite the opposite: “ The alleged perpetrator is “Islamophobic”, declared German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser who came with the chancellor to the scene of the tragedy on Saturday” (BFMTV 12/21/2024)
The German press published some messages posted by the suspect a few months before the attack. There are messages of hatred against Islam and Muslims but also against the German government, accused according to him of encouraging the “Islamization” of Europe. On one of his messages there is this enigmatic sentence: “ The religion of God is Judaism.” In another message, he prays to God to grant Israel’s wishes in the midst of a genocidal war in Gaza. The suspect is an Islamophobe and a supporter of the State of Israel!
The amalgam maintained by representatives of the far-right has sparked reactions from several political figures in France “Turn your tongue in your mouth seven times before delivering your prejudices whose sole purpose is to cultivate anti-Muslim racism”responded to Jordan Bardella the First Secretary of the Socialist Party Olivier Faure.
For his part, the political coordinator of Rebellious FranceManuel Bompard, denounced on Saturday “far-right leaders (who) pounced like vultures on the Magdeburg attack to vent their anti-Muslim hatred.” “We learn that the alleged perpetrator of the attack is a supporter of their ideas, a supporter of the AfD party. Never forget that the far right kills”added the Marseille MP.
