The CFCM calls for solidarity with Mayotte after Cyclone Chido
The French Council of Muslim Worship published a press release expressing its support for the inhabitants of Mayotte, hard hit by the passage of Cyclone Chido.
Faced with this natural disaster, the CFCM calls for a mobilization of the French Muslim community to support humanitarian actions on site. The CFCM also invites mosques to dedicate a special thought to the victims during Friday prayers. This position taken by the CFCM illustrates the body’s desire to mobilize the French Muslim community around a national disaster, thus underlining its civic commitment and its ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
