The Israeli ambassador caught in the act of propaganda by a journalist who reminds him of the facts

Joshua Zarka, an ambassador of Israel to France, multiplies the media appearances in which he pours, without real contradiction, the official propaganda of a state in the middle of a mass crime in Gaza. When we listen to these genocidaires in costume-tie, Israel would be an exemplary, generous, deeply human democracy, which would tirelessly reach out for peace. A paradise that the Palestinians would obstinately refuse, preferring – according to this obscene fable – war, misery, death. According to the same rhetoric, Gaza has self -destroyed, the 100,000 dead have died alone, and hungry children should only have their own leaders.

But faced with a well-informed journalist, Zarka quickly lost his cool. When he tried to recycle the old lie of “four offers from a generously refused Palestinian state”, he was opposed to him: the constant rejection of the two -state solution by Netanyahu, the calls for the expulsion of the Palestinians by Israeli ministers, the recent vote of the Knesset for the total annexation of the West Bank. Taken in the act of historical falsification, the ambassador took refuge behind aggressiveness, cutting speech, mechanically repeating his elements of language. This rare moment in the French media underlines how the slightest contradiction destabilizes those who defend the indefensible, especially when the facts are there, stubborn.
