Tribute to Samuel Paty

At a time when France is honoring the memory of teacher Samuel Paty, we are rebroadcasting the tribute we paid to him 3 years ago, with the same great emotion, mixed with fear and compassion.

Just as no words will be strong enough to name the unspeakable and express the horror felt in the face of the monstrosity of the crime committed, in France, by hands that only fanaticism taken to the extreme has armed, no words will be gentle enough to show our infinite compassion to the family of the victim, so cruelly experienced.

In memory of Samuel Paty, this history-geography professor and father of a family savagely torn from his family and his students, in the name of a seriously misguided Islam of which we will never say enough to what extent the Text and its Messenger, the Prophet Muhammad, have always made human life sacred, the Oumma team would like to express its deep dismay, having a very moved thought for the deceased.

This dejection, it must again be emphasized with emphasis, is widely shared by all French citizens of the Muslim faith, who, at a time when an immense emotion, perfectly understandable, is taking over a France in shock, fear harmful amalgams, wherever they come from.

As the time comes for contemplation and poignant posthumous tributes, the Oumma team nourishes the hope that the light will always end up shining in the darkness.

Let us always remember to what extent the holy Quran sacralizes human life and how its Messenger was filled with divine Mercy:

“Whoever kills a human being not guilty of murder or sedition on Earth is considered the murderer of all humanity. Anyone who saves the life of a single human being is considered to have saved the life of all humanity! » (Quran, S.5-V.32).

The Prophet Muhammad (saws) was not ” sent only in Mercy for all the universes » (Quran 21:107)
