Villepin accuses Israel of “deportation plan” and claims sanctions against the Hebrew state and refer to the ICC of government members

Invited this morning on France Info, Dominique de Villepin castigated the inaction of the Western powers in the face of the Israeli offensive in Gaza, evoking a deliberate “Israeli plan” of the territory and deportation of the Palestinian population.

“The political objective of Benjamin Netanyahu and his government is the deportation of the Gaza population. Objective which is in an ethnic logic, of a territorial cleaning. That, Europeans know it perfectly. And they are there, with wooden sabers ”, He said, accusing European leaders in helplessness in the face of a policy that he considers planned. The former Prime Minister also denounces control of the humanitarian aid entrusted to the Israeli army and a foundation under the Israeli-American joint supervision, intended according to him to identify the Palestinians before a possible annexation.

Faced with this situation, Villepin calls for immediate measures: suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement, European Embgo on arms and referring to the International Criminal Court (ICC) of members of the Israeli government as well as the main military authorities. He warns against a spiral of violence which, according to him, threatens security not only in the Middle East but also in Europe. “Israel does not fight for us, he fights against us,” he concluded.
