Walid, this French Muslim established in Malaysia: the journey of a determined man
Walid Aden, founder of Fresh Spirulina Farm in Malaysia, never imagined his life would be turned upside down by a simple food. It was through a journey marked by pain and dedication, in search of a cure for his wife suffering from cancer, that he discovered the virtues of spirulina, an aquatic micro-organism with astonishing properties.
“My wife died of cancer,” he confides. “When she was ill, I searched for years for the best treatment. We tried everything, traveling from Saudi Arabia to France to find a solution that could ease her pain or, better yet, cure her. » In this quest, he discovered spirulina and, through in-depth studies, became aware of its multiple benefits. Used to strengthen the immune system, fight cancer and improve overall health, spirulina is a revelation for him.
Faced with the positive effects of this food on his wife, Walid made an oath: he would share the virtues of spirulina with the whole world. After a few years spent in Malaysia, he decided to return to France to train in the cultivation of spirulina according to the of the highest quality. Back in Asia, he founded Fresh Spirulina Farm, the first fresh spirulina farm in Malaysia. The company today offers spirulina in different forms – fresh, frozen and dried – and works with partners who market spirulina capsules under their own brands.
“Several Malaysian universities are now sending their professors and students to us to learn how to grow spirulina on a large scale and with the best possible quality,” explains Walid. With a farm that aims to be a model of excellence, Fresh Spirulina Farm has become a reference for academic institutions and natural health companies in Malaysia.
