During a press conference at the Abdelatif-Rahal International Conference Center (CIC), the head of Algerian diplomacy specified that the initiative of the President of the Republic was structured around six axes, including “ the imperative association of all parties in Nigerwithout any exclusion, to political arrangements to end the crisis, which must be carried out within a period not exceeding six months, under the control of a civil authority, led by a consensual personality, accepted by all currents of the political class in Niger, in order to achieve the restoration of constitutional order in this countrys “.
To a question about possible consultations with France, the minister replied that “ it is the President of the Republic who decides when and with whom to establish contacts,” while mentioning scheduled meetings with senior officials at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs “dyears one week to 10 days “.
