Question
Is it better to perform an act absolves wudu such as passing wind or urinating? Is it better to hold it in and perform the Salat or just perform the act and perform wudu to then go perform salat?
Answer
If your concentration on the prayer is being affected by holding it then I would think it best to indeed break the prayer and then make wudhu and pray again. This is easier done when praying alone of course seeing as the congregation obviously will not start again with you so you will have to be back fairly quick. In such a situation one can understand why a person may desire to hold it until the prayer is complete. Still, if this is seriously affecting the concentration on the prayer it is preferred that the prayer is broken and restarted with proper focus on God.
Hope this helps.
