Israeli Defense Minister: “We will not leave all of Gaza. This won’t happen.”

Things are now clear: Israel’s objective has never been withdrawal, but rather the lasting occupation of Gaza. “We will not leave all of Gaza. This will not happen,” said Israel KatzIsraeli Minister of Defense, Tuesday December 23, 2025. A statement which confirms, if it were still necessary, the colonial logic at work, even as the genocide continues under the eyes of a largely powerless – or complicit – international community. Humanitarian aid remains strictly filtered and insufficient, keeping the population chronically undernourished. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians continue to survive in tents, without real access to water, healthcare or security. At the same time, Israel is increasing its violations of the ceasefire, continuing bombings, incursions and destruction, making any prospect of a lasting truce or reconstruction illusory.
