Question
Salam,
I have read almost all the questions on the same topic but I still could not figure out one thing. It is prohibited in Islam to marry a polytheist but my fiance is a non-muslim indian. She does not believe in Hinduism nor any other religions. She believes that there is a god and just one god. She is not against any religion. Is it still considered haram to marry such a person?
Answer
In the light of the earlier responses, marriage with a person who proclaims that there is only one God cannot be termed as prohibited.
