Sami Zayn, the famous Canadian wrestler, realizes his dream: to perform Umrah

Dressed in the immaculate white Ihram, mingling with the long processions of devout pilgrims, Sami Zayn, 39, the famous Canadian professional wrestler, split the armor in the Holy Land, on the vast esplanade of the Great Mosque of La Mecca. It was on May 25, during his very first Umrah.

Far from the noisy arenas that ignite at his mere appearance, the Quebec superstar, of Syrian origin, from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) was unrecognizable in his modest Islamic loincloth, symbolizing his entry into sacralization.

In front of the Holy Kaaba covered with its sublime black silk fabric, adorned with calligraphy in gold thread of the Shahada (the Muslim profession of faith) and Koranic verses, his emotion was such that it pierced his breastplate of a modern day gladiator.

An emotion so strong, indescribable, that the wrestler adored by the crowds wanted to share it widely on Twitter, as well as through a vlog, illustrating in images his great unforgettable journey. (see video below)

From his real name Rami Sebei, Sami Zayn did not have words strong enough to express his gratitude to WWE, of which he is one of the star wrestlers, for allowing him to realize his dearest dream, on the sidelines of the big event Night of Champions held in Jeddah.
