The Prophet Muhammad admired by 19th century romantic authors
On an Old Continent which is quicker to slander him than to praise him, it is good, on the occasion of the celebration of Mawlid, the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (saws), to highlight what the slayers of Islam willingly conceals and silences: the great admiration shown to him by illustrious romantic authors of the 19th century, including Goethe, Alphonse de Lamartine and Victor Hugo.
He is the historian John Tolan, author of the book “Mahomet the European. History of representations of the Prophet in the West” published by Albin Michel, who speaks about it best. (video below)
