Turkey: the beautiful renovation of a historic door curtain of the Kaaba
Those responsible for the Great Mosque of Busra, in Turkey, can finally contemplate the final result of the true work of art entrusted to them: the meticulous renovation of a historic Mamluk door curtain of the Kaaba, dating from 1516. Behind a transparent window which will reflect its magnificence, this rare piece, 500 years old, will soon take pride of place among the other works exhibited in the museum of the twenty-domed mosque, as reported by the TRT site.
