Victor Wembanyama pays tribute to Eid al-Adha by wearing a qamis before a decisive NBA game

Victor Wembanyama once again attracted attention, but this time before even entering the field. The French star of the San Antonio Spurs arrived at the room, before the sixth game of the Western Conference final against Oklahoma City, dressed in a green qamis, a traditional outfit worn in particular in many Muslim countries. With this clothing choice, the French basketball prodigy wanted to pay homage to Eid al-Adha, one of the main holidays of Islam, which recalls the story of the Prophet Ibrahim and highlights the values of faith, sharing and sacrifice.

Very attentive to his image and the messages he transmits, Victor Wembanyama made an impression with this outfit, praised by many Internet users. A remarkable arrival which preceded a great sporting performance: the Spurs player scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, allowing his team to stay in the race in the series. For former NBA legend Vince Carter, this way of arriving in the room also showed his state of mind: a way to mentally prepare and motivate himself before a decisive match.
A unique arrival fit for Wemby 👀
