Mathilde Panot also denounced the images of the Gaza solidarity flotilla intercepted by Israel as well as the consequences of Israeli strikes in Lebanon. “We saw images of torn bodies that are absolutely unbearable to watch,” she recalled.

She also underlined that “an infant was killed in the West Bank by Israeli fire” last Friday and denounced the continuation of massacres in the Gaza Strip where “deaths and killings continue”. The president of the LFI group finally accused the Israeli ambassador to France of interfering in French political life. “We have an Israeli ambassador who is simply engaging in foreign interference by saying, in the presidential elections: everything rather than Mélenchon,” she declared.
