Islamophobic school harassment: the admirable resilience of Jamal, a young Syrian refugee

After fleeing, with his family, the Syrian nightmare in 2016, it was in England, his land of asylum, that the teenager unfortunately experienced another hell: that school harassment of an Islamophobic nature, pushed to the height of psychological and physical violence.

Insulted, humiliated, brutalized, Jamal suffered a terrible ordeal at school, which crescendoed until he was savagely attacked by one of his main torturers: Bailey Mc Laren, 16 years old. The height of odiousness, the scene was filmed by his executioners and broadcast on social networks, arousing astonishment and fear in the civilized kingdom of His Gracious Majesty.
