The Koran and the Jews: respect, faith and recognition

Contrary to what we often hear, THE Koran is not an anti-Semitic text. He speaks of Jews as a people of the Book, heirs of a divine revelation. THE Koran recognizes Moses, David, Solomon, Abraham as major prophets, respected by Muslims. He recalls that God granted the children of Israel immense favors and a unique spiritual mission. The criticisms present in THE Koran never target a people as such, but specific behaviors, at a given moment in history – exactly as he also criticizes Muslims.
THE Koran clearly states: “Among the people of the Book there is a righteous community. » THE message is clear and constant: the Muslim faith imposes justice and THE respect for every human being, including Jewswithout exception. Confusing religion, politics and hatred is betrayal THE meaning of the text.
